Your mother is always with you...
She's the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.
as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of bleach in
your freshly laundered socks.
your freshly laundered socks.
She's the cool hand on your
brow when you're not well.
brow when you're not well.
Your mother lives inside
your laughter.
your laughter.
She's crystallized
in every tear drop...
in every tear drop...
She's the place you came from,
your first home..
your first home..
She's the map you
follow with every step that you take.
follow with every step that you take.
She's your first love and your first heart
break....and nothing on earth can separate you.
break....and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space...
Not even death....
will ever separate you
from your mother....
Not even death....
will ever separate you
from your mother....
You carry her inside of you....
- Sherry MartinShe passed away one year ago today. She is always in my thoughts and never leaves my heart, but I miss her everyday.

A beautiful post. Thats hard - I have been there and that first year is tough. It has been 14 years for me and I still miss her like crazy.
You are in my thoughts as you mark this one year anniversary - it must be very hard.
Your post is a lovely tribute!
(I'm a stranger to you, came over from Mr Linky via One Person's Journey). My sympathies over your mom. I have never lost a parent, and it must be tough. You've made it a year now, and that was a beautiful poem you posted. I hope you have a lot of wonderful memories of you mother to keep close to your heart.
