"All the best stories in the world are but one story in reality -- the story of escape. It is the only thing which interests us all and at all times, how to escape."

Enquiring Minds Want To Know - Week 40 - The Finale

No, I am not a new Tabloid Reporter, but this is a feature so
that we can all get to know each other better.

That's how this feature started I wanted to get to know more about other bloggers and my followers.  I had seen a similar feature on Mondays but my Mondays were already full so I decided to try it out on Thursdays with only 3 questions and ask some fluffy questions like the other meme but also some tougher ones like about voting and memories.
I couldn't believe there was also another meme on Thursdays I hadn't found when researching this and while most of my questions were laid out over a month in advance sometimes we would ask the exact same questions.
So it is with regret that this is the last week of Enquiring Minds.  But let's go out getting to really know each other.

WEEK 40 QUESTIONS

1.  List 3 things the make you happy?

2. If you could change 3 things in the world today what would they be?

3. If you had a BILLION dollars list the first 3 things you would do with the money.

Now be sure to copy and paste the information and your answers into your blog, then come back to link up, so we can come to your blog and read your answers.

MY ANSWERS:
1.  List 3 things the make you happy?

  1. Spending time with my family and friends.
  2. Curling up and "escaping" into a good book.
  3. Blogging, where I have met some truly amazing people.

2. If you could change 3 things in the world today what would they be?

  1. End all the wars.
  2. Feed all the hungry.
  3. Shelter all the homeless.
I know they sound like I am in a Miss America Pageant.
I would also get rid of all the lobbyists for Billionaires, Big Oil and Big Corporations and work to remove the Governor and all his puppets from my state of Wisconsin. (There that sounds more like me.)

3. If you had a BILLION dollars list the first 3 things you would do with the money.

  1. Pay my fair share in taxes.
  2. Invest it wisely.
  3. Pay all my debts, pay for my kids college educations plus donate to charities especially stem cell research that could help people with spinal cord injuries like mine.
Martha at Martha's Bookshelf may start a similar feature at her blog.  She gets a lot of comments each week and even awards a prize.  So be sure to visit her blog to see what she may have planned.  She really has a wonderful blog.

My favorite question of the whole 40 weeks was:
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Some answers were:
  • People who do not tell the truth.
  • Laziness, unreadable handwriting.
  • I don't like bent pages. I don't like broken spines or basically any kind of damage to a book. I'm picky about who I loan them to and how they treat them when they have them LOL... I'm such a book addict!!!
  • I hate people to say one thing and do another!
  • Gossip.
  • Procrastination.
  • I hate it when people spell lose loose.
  • Bad drivers.
Thank you to everyone for playing along. I have enjoyed learning more about you and you sharing snippets of your lives with us.

Not sure what will appear in this spot next week, it may be a review or a giveaway or something random I have up my sleeve.  STAY TUNED!!!
