Welcome to Feel Good Friday!
Laura had found that a lot of her bloggy friends reading posts about being positive, so she thought she might try her very own meme. She just want everyone to feel good and have some happy thoughts as you begin the weekend.
I thought it sounded like fun and
wanted to try it this is only my second
Feel Good Friday!
It is never too late to join!!!
Since this is only my second week I'll post the prompts here and the steps to follow to give you some idea of what this meme is about:
Step 1:
Pick one of these prompts and write about it on your blog! You can:
- Just make a list. List 5 things that made you really happy this week. No matter how bad or boring you think your week was, I bet you can find 5 things.
- Write about something that happened to you this week that really made you smile. Was it your child, husband, or maybe a complete stranger did to you?
- Write about something that YOU did for someone else that really made them happy or laugh.
- Is there something you treasure so much that every single time you look at it, it brings you happiness? Post a pic and tell everyone about it.
- Having a hard week and can’t find one good thing about it? Well then, what is your happy place? What do you think of that makes you happy? A past vacation? A childhood memory? We want to know!
Step 2:
Come back to Laura's blog, the little girl next door grows up on Friday and link up with Mister Linky’s Magical Widgets. Then go and read at least one other blog and leave them a comment to make their day brighter.
Step 3:
Have fun. Feel good. Smile.
Then, start looking for all of the good things you can write about for next week! Once you start looking for the “good” you will find it everywhere.*******************************************************
5 Things That Made Me Happy This Week
- My youngest daughter Elizabeth/Liz/Betsy turned 19 this week. (Her friends call her Liz, but to family she will always be Betsy.)
- The mailman brought me so many goodies this week and I am still waiting for 3 more from PaperBackSwap that are all books from my Wish List. Need to spend more time reading, less time sleeping :)
- The weather has been so beautiful this week, today is the first cloudy day, all the rain has been when we are sound asleep.
- A friend had a very serious surgery two weeks ago and she is now home recovering. Things are going better than expected.
- My son Jayme has a very successful high school baseball season, the whole team did well. Go PIRATES!! Summer basketball starts the 13th of June. Gotta have my high school sports.

I remember being 19, got engaged and married that same year!! Goodies in the mail, got some of those this week too and it is always a wonderful fun thing to open em up!!! (Always books)
Rained here during the day all day long yesterday and half the night on Wednesday night, now hot and sunny!!
Glad for your friend, hate the recuperating part of having surgery!!
Baseball not so much into but Go Pirates anyway, always good when young people have positive outlets and fun at the same time!!
Thanks for sharing Lori and sounds like your fun weekend has already started. Thanks for stopping by my "Clean Porn" earlier as well!!

Ahhhh, what it was like to be 19. Seems like yesterday, though it was @$#% years ago, lol.
Thanks for sharing your list, and good luck to your son's summer baseball team. Go Pirates.
Also, thanks for stopping by my blog on FGF, am following you now, and hope you do the same. Have a wonderful weekend.
Good stuff.
Happy birthday to your daughter.
I'm glad your friend is doing better than expected.
I often wonder if there will be a pill to take the place of sleep one day?
Have your best weekend ever.
All awesome reasons to feel good! Fun little meme.

Have a great weekend
Good news all around !
Happy Birthday Elizabeth!
I just love when it rains at night, not thunderstorms, but a nice gentle rain.
I also love getting mail I'm waiting for.
So exciting!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog:) Don't you love Feel Good Friday?!
Happy Birthday to your daughter, and hope you are having a great weekend!
I have always loved the name Betsy. Ever since I read the Betsy-Tacy series by Maud Hart Lovelace.
That series is priceless!!!!
I am so happy you had a lovely week.
