Boy it has taken me awhile to get going today, my grandson was up last night with a fever of 103.9 and was hallucinating thinking he had bugs all around. Scary stuff, cool bath and ceiling fan and his temp was down to 99.8 this morning and complaining his ears hurt. On his way to the doctor now, so hopefully we won't have a repeat performance tonight.
Vacation was great!!! Our zoo trip on Thursday was the best day. Will be posting pictures and telling you all about it. in my Feel Good Friday post.

Hi Dollycas, I saw your comment on Nise's blog about going to a basketball tournament and your son being a senior. We just got back from a tournament in Chicago (Lebron James' tournament - The King James Showcase. We heard he was going to be there, but he's kind of busy right now...lol) Anyway, my son is a junior, and I agree...I don't know what the heck I'm going to do when he graduates. I'll probably still attend high school games :) Maybe find some neighbor kids to follow.
We're going to a big tournament in Kansas City in two weeks and that's it for the summer. Then I have to endure withdrawals until the season starts in November. Does your son play AAU ball, I assume? (I've subscribed to comments so I'll be sure to get your response)

We live in a small, tiny town, so his tournaments are just here in Wisconsin, usually hosted by schools in our Division or the the Division above ours to challenge the players. This weekend we are traveling the furthest that will require a hotel stay, but the others are close by.
My daughters both played, the oldest was more into it than her sister and continued to play at college for awhile. My son Jayme is almost 6'5" and I say the most athletic and loves to play, but they have all been such fun to watch and get better every year.
Like you we will probably continue to follow the Fall River Pirates as we have become quite addicted. We will have to wait until our 2 year old grandson starts to play. lol
I know, me too...another addiction besides books. hehe
My son is 16 and is 6'8". Can you believe it? The doctor said he's probably got another inch or two before he's done. My side of the family and his dad's side are all tall, so it's not surprising. My brother is 6'8" and played college basketball and baseball, and my dad was a pitcher for the L.A. Dodgers in the '60s, so my son's got the athletic genes. Now if he can just get a scholarship, that would be fine with me!
I agree, it is so much fun to watch them get better every year.

6'8" OMG I am already worried about Jayme getting caught in the ceiling fans, lol and his doctor says he too is not done growing at least another inch. I don't know where the height comes from but probably hubby's side as our nephew is also growing out of control.
