Erika had found that a lot of her bloggy friends reading posts about being positive, so she thought she might try her very own meme. She just wanted everyone to feel good and have some happy thoughts as you begin the weekend.

1. My little boy started his Senior year of high school on Wednesday.
2. My little girl started College last week.
These were the good old days, when I wasn't so old and neither were they.
3. Thank to Facebook I reconnected with an old friend after almost 30 years. Talk about a BLAST FROM THE PAST!
4. I started a new feature (meme)on my blog yesterday. No, I am not a new Tabloid Reporter, but it is a feature so that we can all get to know each other better. I hope you will all check it out and join the fun.
5. NFL FOOTBALL IS BACK!!! This house is full of life long Packer Fans!! Yes, I know they lost last night, but none of the first string even played. My favorite Packer of all time is Edgar Bennett. Man that guy could move, bob and weave. Today he is the Running Backs Coach for the Packers and after watching him play for years, anyone can see he is the best man for the job. I used to have one of his jerseys but in our many moves it was lost, but I still have his training card mounted on a plague.
That's what made me smile this week. Now tell me what made you SMILE!!!

Congrats on your high school graduate and your soon to be high school grad. Kids grow up in the blink of an eye!
Thanks for stopping by. I tried to let my kids grow every other day to stretch out the time they were little but it never worked :(
It's not easy seeing that our kids growing older means we're growing older! =) I hope you have a great turnout with your meme. Awesome about the FB connection. Are you a Packers fan? I can't believe Favre came back to play again! Ugh...I can do without him!

Favre has gone from a legend to a laughingstock, it is really so sad.
Football season is back for sure. It's as if nothing but the Steelers matters her in Pittsburgh!
