This is really a cute little 3 minute read full of inspiration from a mom to her daughter.

I first read this book imagining the words coming from my mom who passed away a couple of years ago and they rung true to the way she raised me.

Then I read it again as the words going from me to my daughters and realized that while each sentiment is true in my heart my actions sometimes may not measure up and I have to work on that.  

My daughters have a role that I hope most daughters don't have to have in their lives as early as my daughters have had.  Helping to care for a mother who being so dependent on others early in their lives has put them in some situations I hope others never have. Picking me up when I fall, personal care that is sometimes impossible due to having only one functioning hand, driving me everywhere, plus so much more.  They always assure me it is no problem but to me sometimes the roles of parent and child seem in reverse.  Them taking me to the doctor or to get a haircut, me handing them a list and sending them shopping, so many things.  I am blessed with a wonderful husband and four fabulous children, two extraordinary sons and two phenomenal daughters who I shared this inspirational book with.

This book is perfect for daughters of all ages. A book to be treasured, read and read again several times during their lifetime. The illustrations are simple and adorable.  If your daughter is learning to read, hitting a milestone of 10, 13, or 16, graduating from high school or college, getting married or starting a family of her own, this book is the perfect little addition for a mom to share with her daughter.  It will find a place on her keeper shelf forever. A book she can pick up when she's feeling low and know that her mother loves her whether they are in the same house, miles away from each other, or even if her mom is in heaven.  Her mom is always there in her heart.  This book is a true celebration of a mom's love for her daughter.
