What really happens at the North Pole? Go on this journey with elf Gumshoe Coal and find out the truth about Christmas, The Naughty List, the reindeer and all the other characters, places and things we all associate with the holidays from all the wonderful movies, television shows and books.
I don't want to reveal too much because the book is a rare entertaining look at the Holiday we all hold dear. The book is inspired by the classics and this author sets this story in a Noir format that is effortless. It is hard to believe this is his first novel. You will be laughing out loud, reading parts of it to your friends and family and will truly enjoy every word and almost be sorry when the story ends. The is sure to become a new Christmas Classic. A book to read every year, just like "Twas The Night Before Christmas" or the classic movies we watch again and again like "It's A Wonderful Life" and "The Christmas Story." This is THE BOOK you should be giving everyone this Christmas.

This sounds EXACTLY like the type of Christmas/holiday book I am looking for! I'm signed up for two reading challenges that are holiday themes and my biggest problem is finding books I'm actually interesting in reading. I love Noir! I haven't heard of this one. So glad I stopped by and I will def. add it to my reading list.
