Monday Music Moves Me!!!!

Photobucket

I love this fun new meme sponsored by Xmas DollyLorie from The Shewbridges of CelebrationCallie at Jamerican Spice and Larry from Cakeblast.  Everyone has made me feel so welcome. This meme is so much fun and so easy!!!  Just go to one of the links above for the details and enjoy the music.

Today's theme is "?"!  Nope don't know what the theme is because it's FREEBIE MONDAY!  WOO HOO!  PICK WHAT YOU LIKE AND ROCK ME BABY!  ROCK ME ALL DAY LONG!

The very first concert I ever attended was back in the 70's to see The Eagles. Back then it cost about $10 dollars for ticket, the shows were just as fabulous and fantastic bands came to Madison, Wisconsin almost every weekend.

So this week I choose The Eagles to salute for MMMM.  This old grandma still loves rockin' to a little Joe Walsh.

Can't think of a better way to start the week!!!
C'mon join the fun!!!!

I love Take It Easy and Hotel California, still rock out to the sounds of The Eagles today every once in a while when driving somewhere by myself...

My only concerts took place in early 90's when got to go see Cher and Chicago do perfomances in Austin and also got to see comedienne Bill Cosby on stage there one year too... I lead a very sheltered life and my parents did not let me do things like the rest of the kids....

My most fun memory was mid 80's when got to go to the tour of The Monkees and a bunch of other bands from late 60's and 70's in Corpus Christi, it was first time smelled "Weed" and hopefully the last! LOL

Such wonderful classics. Something I don't get to hear much now a day.

Joe Walsh, hubby took me to Star Plaza to go see him. What an entertainer! He's great. Wow, He sure was young in that video, and didn't he change the name of the batter in that tune? Oh Lordy, Take it Easy from 1973! Wow, I was in my 20's back then Woo Hoo! I was singing back up in a band called Johnny Apollo & his Apaches! ROFL THOSE WERE THE DAYS! Thanks honey for the trip down memory lane! HUGS!
