ENQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW - WEEK 33

No, I am not a new Tabloid Reporter, but this is a feature so
that we can all get to know each other better.

This feature will be open from Thursday at 12:01 A.M. and close on Monday at 11:59 P.M. to allow those that want to participate over the weekend the opportunity to do so when they have more time.  So you may want to check back on Tuesday or check the previous week's link on Thursday to view everyone's answers.

Links to all previous can be found by clicking the Enquiring Minds Want To Know page in the right sidebar for those who missed a week or two and want to catch up on everyone's answers.  To do that please link up using the actual post link  instead of the link to your entire blog so people can find your "Enquiring" posts easier.

If you are just joining this feature
WELCOME!!!!!
We all become friends/followers but most of us will never meet in person, this feature is to help us all get to know each other better.

Each Thursday I will post 3 questions for you to answer
that you can copy and post on
your blog with your answers.
You don’t have to be a blogger to participate either. I will be using a Linky List for the blogs to use to participate and follow each other around to get to know each other, but if you are not a blogger just answer the questions in the comment section following the post on your favorite blog. Please feel free to click on the links and visit other blogs too.

This way we not only get to know other bloggers,
we get to know our followers too.
I am really excited about this meme
and hope many more people will join the fun!!!!!

Are you interested?

WEEK 33 QUESTIONS

1. How often do you go to the hair salon or beauty parlor?

2. Have you ever had a massage?

3. Have you even been able to enjoy a full day of pampering at a spa?

Now be sure to copy and paste the information and your answers into your blog, then come back to link up, so we can come to your blog and read your answers.

I hope you will come back to this meme every week and tell your friends so we can all get to know each other better and get the answers to all the questions
Enquiring Minds Want To Know.

MY ANSWERS:
1. How often do you go to the hair salon or beauty parlor?

When I was working I went about every four weeks to kept those pesky gray hairs under control and for a cut. When money started to get a little tight my husband became my expert colorist. The past few years I have let the gray take over and live with the salt and pepper effect and go about every 5 - 6 weeks for a good haircut.

2. Have you ever had a massage?

Yes, many. Before my accident a neighbor was studying massage therapy and I  was happily one of "guinea pigs" and I was hooked.  After my accident massages were prescribed for while to help my back and neck pain, plus to stimulate the paralyzed parts.  When Jeff switched jobs and we started with a different insurance company, these charges were not allowed.  Boy, I miss them, they really helped.  Someday I hope to return them to my schedule.

3. Have you even been able to enjoy a full day of pampering at a spa?

No, never had a spa day.  Maybe some time in the future. I would love to do this with my daughters.

Now it's your turn!
Let's get to know YOU!!

The grays are such a pain in the neck. I go every 6 weeks thanks to them too.

1. I go about every 6-8 weeks. I too have given up and now have lovely silver woven throughout...it is just to coarse to hold the color and would need to be done nearly every week.
2. Yes, one time my hubby set up a couples massage it was so nice - but super expensive.
3. Only the one day my hubby set up the massage...he also had mani, pedi, facial, etc set up for me then took me out to the place we had dinner for our prom (15 years earlier) and then dancing before staying at a fancy hotel!

Lori no hair salon, no massages ever and never ever any day spa for me... I have only colored my hair twice and both times were to get a different color but not to cover gray, did not have any at the time...
I have a friend who went into massage therapy and offered to use me as her guinea pig but it felt too "awkward" for me to take her up on it....

Day spa for me is a waste of money, do not do mani's or pedi's and hate the thought of going and getting covered in muddy goop and stuff or even a steam bath.. The steam bath actually scares me, afraid with my goofy anxiety would have an attack and pass out..

However it is nice to play along every week, love to read the answers everyone comes up with...

I would love to have a friend who needed a "guinea pig" for massages! Is there a place I can sign up for one of those? :D

Lori- that is a good idea - a full day at the spa with my daughter. It will have to wait till after the baby is born. She is due the first week of May.
