"All the best stories in the world are but one story in reality -- the story of escape. It is the only thing which interests us all and at all times, how to escape."

DID NOT FINISH
Cherished
Cherished
by Kim Cash Tate
Release Date: August 30, 2011
I did not finish this one because I didn't like the story.
I did not finish because when I got to page 58,
the next page was 91.
Hard to follow a story with a chunk missing.
Contacted both the author and BookSneeze
and have not heard back from anyone yet.
According to reviews on Amazon most of them
complain of missing pages but not the
same pages I am missing.
I feel very bad for the author to go to all the work of writing a story to have the publisher send out copies with several pages missing!
Time 4:40 p.m. Publisher sending new copy.
Finger crossed it will have all the pages :)

Great list! I jumped off fiction this morning to be inspired by a real live, bright and funny woman: Tina Fey's "Bossypants" and so far so good.

On September 1, Leslie Kagen's "Good Graces" is released—a view of 1950s Milwaukee through the naive eyes of two young sisters who can't help but get into trouble. It's the followup to "Whistling in the Dark" and I can't wait to read it.

So many books. So little time!

Oh no, that is terrible that there were that many pages missing. It doesn't sound like you cared for it anyway.

You made it through quite a few books. I was impressed with my three.

feeling for that author with the poor publishing - very sad ... but thx for the headsup b/c that may help them get their act together!
