Enquiring Minds Want To Know - Week 38

No, I am not a new Tabloid Reporter, but this is a feature so
that we can all get to know each other better.

This feature will be open from Thursday at 12:01 A.M. and close on Monday at 11:59 P.M. to allow those that want to participate over the weekend the opportunity to do so when they have more time.  So you may want to check back on Tuesday or check the previous week's link on Thursday to view everyone's answers.

Links to all previous can be found by clicking the Enquiring Minds Want To Know page in the right sidebar for those who missed a week or two and want to catch up on everyone's answers.  To do that please link up using the actual post link  instead of the link to your entire blog so people can find your "Enquiring" posts easier.

If you are just joining this feature
We all become friends/followers but most of us will never meet in person, this feature is to help us all get to know each other better.

Each Thursday I will post 3 questions for you to answer
that you can copy and post on your blog with your answers.
You don’t have to be a blogger to participate either. I will be using a Linky List for the blogs to use to participate and follow each other around to get to know each other, but if you are not a blogger just answer the questions in the comment section following the post on your favorite blog. Please feel free to click on the links and visit other blogs too.

This way we not only get to know other bloggers,
we get to know our followers too.
I am really excited about this meme
and hope many more people will join the fun!!!!!

Are you interested?

1. When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up?

2. Did you go to college?

3. Do you attend your high school or college reunions?

Now be sure to copy and paste the information and your answers into your blog, then come back to link up, so we can come to your blog and read your answers.

I hope you will come back to this meme every week and tell your friends so we can all get to know each other better and get the answers to all the questions
Enquiring Minds Want To Know.

1. When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a teacher or a firefighter like my dad.

2. Did you go to college?
Yes, but a 4-year college was beyond my financial means so I went to a Technical College and have an Associate Degree in Accounting.

3. Do you attend your high school or college reunions?
I have never attended a college reunion and have not attended a high school reunion since my accident.  My class had just over 100 students, some who I have reconnected with on Facebook, but I have been afraid to face my classmates in my wheelchair.  We used to have so much fun together but while I can be myself behind this computer screen, the Lori that goes out in public is very different from the one they would all remember. I am making progress at this through the encouragement of my family and friends so who knows what will happen when the next one rolls around.

Now it's your turn!
Let's get to know YOU!!
This Enquiring Mind Wants To Know!

I think every little girl wanted to be a teacher. Hmmm. now you being a fire fighter...I am having a stretch of my imagination with that one, especially if you had to save me. We would be laughing so much, looking for the pastry and trying to grab as many books as we could, that I am sure the Fire Dept, would fire you if they found us at the local coffee shop lol.

I made it this week! :)

I wrote my replies before I read your answers.

Facebook is a great way to keep in touch and it was through FB that our 25th year reunion came about.

1. I wanted to be a nurse and a mother.

2. Sure did, have three degrees from I.U.

3. No, I didn't. Would have had to fly back to Indiana. Actually, they had in Florida on a yacht and hardly any one showed up. There were about 1,200 in graduating class. Very different from Lori's experience.

I always wanted to be a Librarian but when I found out how much schooling and effort would be involved got married instead..

I did not go to college and have never been to a high school reunion in the 31 years since I graduated because it was not worth going as only had 24 students in our graduating class and we were not that close...

Hi Lori-
You found some cute photos. :-)
I hope that you will get to a reunion. It must be difficult in the wheelchair but you could show how brave you can be.
